Cast: Amanda Seyfried as Elizabeth Holmes and Naveen Andrews as Sunny Balwani. The limited series also includes guest stars Utkarsh Ambudkar, Kate Burton, Michel Gill, LisaGay Hamilton, William H. Macy, Elizabeth Marvel, Laurie Metcalf, Dylan Minnette, Alan Ruck, Sam Waterston, Michaela Watkins and more.

The series is executive produced by showrunner Elizabeth Meriwether, Liz Heldens, Liz Hannah, Katherine Pope, Rebecca Jarvis, Victoria Thompson and Taylor Dunn. Michael Showalter directs multiple episodes and also serves as an executive producer along with his Semi-Formal Productions producing partner Jordana Mollick. The series comes to Hulu from Searchlight Television and 20th Television. This is Searchlight Television’s first production.

This role was supposed to be for Kate McKinnon but for some reason she dropped out, I'm glad it went to Amanda Seyfried. Eventhough she's an Oscar nominee last year, I feel like she's still underrated

I have to confess that I clicked this straight off thinking I didn't like the casting of Amanda Seyfried JUST BECAUSE Elizabeth has such a different tone and presentation than that of Amanda's... But midway through she started speaking and behaving just like the real Elizabeth! Amazing!

Still a very difficult characterisation though - I'm curious to see it. This role is quite the challenge.

I was disappointed when Kate McKinnon dropped out of this project (for whatever reason), but I'm actually glad that this went Amanda Seyfried instead. From the trailer you can tell that the role maybe wasn't right for Kate. And I'm a huge Kate fan. Looking forward to watching this, as I especially enjoyed Amanda Seyfried in Big Love. 👍

Amanda Seyfried's acting career has improved immensely since her 'Mean Girls' days. I also enjoyed her comedic work with Mark Wahlberg in Ted as well!
She looks like she delivers an amazingly stunning performance in this medical drama/thriller.
I understand that movie actors aren't trained medical professionals, but still, there's just 1 thing that bothers me: 0:15.
As a former lab technician myself, although the tourniquet is correctly placed, we NEVER drew patients blood by inserting the needle below the thumb, because that would cause the needle to move inside the vein (once you release your thumb). Addtitionally, higher risk of puncturing yourself.
I used to press down on the targeted vein to "anchor" it from moving about and then insert the needle a centimeter ABOVE my thumb. The only time we'd place our thumb above the needle, would be applying a cotton when removing the needle. Otherwise, great trailer!!

Amanda Seyfried is probably the most underrated actress
Like she was nominated for Mank (should've won imo) and regularly gets jobs, so she's not underrated in that sense, but she may just be THE top actress in film today and I think she is not respected by the media

Damn, this looks good! The podcast was outstanding, and this series looks freakin' amazing, and the cast is jaw droppingly gorgeous too. Great actors all round! 😍
