It is true that IIT matters. It is because of the allumni, opportunities, peer groups, etc. but if someone thinks "IIT nikal lo to life set, otherwise kuch bhi nahi", then it is a wrong perception, after getting IIT you will have to work hard for the next step and if u are not from IIT, then also u will have to work hard, but ha for IITians it becomes easier to cross that barrier.

People who get IIT are motivated by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's words during JEE preparation, but Kalam Sir was not from IIT.So what matters the most in life is hardwork and will power.

if u want to get into business, even a degree doesn't matter
but if u want to have a job and get into the standard rat race then it kinda matters

Listen you random reader....
If you have got talent... You can crack anything in life... IIT is just a tag that shows that you have already learnt to work hard... Trust me there are only a few iitans(50-60 every year) who actually get those dream packages and dream life... Rest of them just find out other career option cuz in IIT they understand ki bhai engineering apne bas ki nahi hai...
You haven't checked iit that doesn't mean you are not capable... India mei bas ek hype bana hua hai IIT IIT.... I completely agree that Jee advance is one of the toughest exams in the world... But just cracking the exam is not all... It shows you have the ability to think but to put it in use is a not a "sabke bas ka" thing... I hope u are getting me...

And trust me... Within 10 years... Yeh IIT ka jo hype hai na it's going to reduce anyway...
Wo toh pehle se hi itne iitans hai uparse nowadays due to availability of internet facility.... Students are finding many new career field to work in... Jaise US mei MIT ke student ko bhagwan nahi maante... Waise India mei v iitans ko bhagwaan maanna chor denge sab... After that it will just be called a good engineering institute and nothing else...
Basically no hype...

It's not just to make you feel good... But also the truth... Now stop thinking about these tags and stuff and work harder....

World is just made in such a way it helps IITian or good college graduates No matters what
It doesn't mean you can't do something Which IITians were able to ...but thing is it will be different story complete Different approach you will bring to the world!
