Why I Stopped Using Facebook / Why I Quit Facebook

In this video I talk about why I quit facebook. The initial reason why I stopped using facebook was simply due to me not remembering what I'd changed my facebook password to, but after some time away from the site I realised that facebook just led to me procrastinating a lot. Quitting social media can have a lot of benefits, and if nothing else you should consider reducing the time you spend on facebook.

If you do want to go the whole way though, then I'll explain why you should delete your facebook, and how quitting facebook can lead to a better life for you.

Don't get me wrong. Facebook is great and a very useful tool when used correctly, but for most of us it is a distraction and a time drain that eats up at our day. So either find a way to moderate your use of it, or stop using it altogether if you want your life to improve.

I stopped using facebook about 3 1/2 year ago and there was mainly 2 reasons for that. 1 I wasted way to much time on facebook, time I could use so much better. 2 I hated the fact that people (including myself...no Im no betterr) often try to paint a picture of a perfect life..Guess nubmber 2 was the part I hated the most. I agree, a total waste of time. What about the inmature neediness of showing your life on a virtual place?. I think a fully developped human needs no validation. Furthermore social media are in fact very sophisticated methos to keep the sheeps in control.
