Fast Beat Making on the OPZ!

We all know that as producers, it's so easy to get into your own way: second guessing sounds that you've chosen and always looking for "something better". What if you just went with the first sounds that sounded good to you? This is where the OPZ is BEASTLY. You can compose a beat insanely quick, and then you have the luxury of going back and changing things if need be; a definite advantage over the OP1, where you're basically stuck with whatever it is that you've composed. Another reason to buy, perhaps?

That's a great tip - to use the first sound that you like. Just got my op-z so I'll definitely use that. Great beat btw 🤙🏼

Hey Liam! As always, really digging the TE-related vids. Can you please tell me who a few of your favorite accessible electronic producers are? I'd love to hear. Keep up the good work!

This channel’s really cool. Don’t usually comment but just thought I’d put it out there.

The OP-Z may have build quality issues, it may be overpriced, etc, but as far as I know, it simply has no competition in its size bracket, especially with a sequencer that is so immediate and, pardon the 90s buzzword but yes, intuitive.

How loud are the speaker in the opz compared with the op 1?

That’s actually exactly what I do when I’m not feeling creative. Funny enough, I made my most experimental tracks like this lol

Since you own both, do you see value in owning both the OP-1 and the opz? I just ordered an OP-1 but I’m also super intrigued by the opz. Something about a pocket sequencer seems exciting but given the power of the OP-1 I feel like owning both might be redundant.

0:51 That OP1 crying :D Nice video

Also, you probably noticed this already but the focus on the footage of you is all out of focus -- it's focused on the background walls instead of your face.
