What I Eat In A Day To Lose Weight 2021 | growwithjo

a *highly requested* what I eat in a day video!
a few things that have changed since my last 'what I eat' video
*I am no longer intermittent fasting (only some days of the week I will follow intermittent fasting protocols mainly out of convenience - I share why in this video
*I have now added eggs and chicken back into my diet. Kai (my son) wasn't really enjoying all the beans and lentils every day and we wanted to make sure that he was trying other foods and getting as much nutrients as possible. So I have started eating chicken in addition to the fish that I have already been eating (I was pescatarian for about 2-3 years)
It is important to note that every single day isn't the same. While todays eating was pretty on point, there will be some days where I will have more sweets and less nutrient-dense foods (AND THATS OKAY!). One thing I always remind myself is that there are no "bad" foods, just foods that wont fuel me as well as others and give me the nutrients I need to stay healthy and have good energy.
Today was a lower carb day, but thats not to say that I don't eat bread or other high carb meals. Each day is different for me.
I dont count calories, but I do have a pretty good understanding of how many calories I am eating per day (because of the point in my life where I was diligently counting calories, and my understanding of nutrient density from my Kinesiology studies in University).
