Also, in future vids, I’d love to see a 5 minute “here’s how to play against this fighter.”

I love playing Beowulf! So much so, I started bottling emotions up irl. Going good, the extra damage really comes in clutch.

Fantastic series! Hoping to see the rest, particularly Bruce Lee and Deadpool when he lands.

13:17 -- When Bruce Lee unleashes a flurry of attacks and then does a little hop back and stands waiting for you with *just one card, * no maneuvers to gain more, no, just that *one card, * playing Vigor and Courage with 3 Rage brings me great joy.

Hot for Battle is also great for Boosting movement -- it even makes sense thematically, to declare that your Geats are Hot for Battle as they surge forwards.

17:05 -- Holmes & Watson are into comfort and after-care; Beowulf & Wiglaf are into rougher stuff. It's essential for each couple to find what's right for them.

17:57 -- Alas, I guess you've never read any of the Conan stories. If you'd said "mighty thews" instead, it would have given me such a thrill.

For some reason this video doesn't let you activate the subtitles... :( :( :(

Recently played through all the Cobble&Fog and Red+Beowulf matchups and have not won a single game with Beowulf. I wanted him to be this kickass Viking so bad, but he feels like the weakest character in these two sets. Let me know if he isn't, and I am just missing something crucial about playing him. Thanks!

I was seriously struggling with him, as I could barely pull any card from the deck and I barely had cards in my hand to be able to do anything (at least in 2v2 combat). What card pulling mechanism can be used with Beowulf apart from moving around, which case I can't use my actions on attack, etc.

Great vid. Have a question, do not see an answer in the rules. What if you kill an attacking sidekick with equal of grendel? Does the combat continue? Do their card effects work and do you still take damage?

If Sherlock Holmes plays a feint againt the ancient heirloom does that cancel it's effect?

No contest expecteth: if sidekick has 7 hp and you deal 1damage, then pay 3 Rage, you remove this sidekick from the game?
