Have you ever wondered, How does Beyonce sing? Today, we're going to find out! Hi! I'm Madeleine Harvey and I'm a vocal coach. Beyonce is an incredible performer! Today, we will be exploring Beyonce's best live vocals.

0:30 Her first performance is "Freedom" and here, she is a master at holding space. Everything she does comes from the center of her being. Her body informs her voice as well as her movements.

2:07 Her second performance is one of my favorites "Crazy in Love" And in this performance she shows us her signature Beyonce style of singing that includes lot's of fan's, hair whipping, and tons of breath support. She's so in her body! The key to her vocal endurance is resistance. So if you want to learn how to sing like Beyonce, be sure to practice lot's of breath support in your singing.

4:56 This next clip from Beyonce's Coachella performance shows her showing off some classical singing as well! Again, here is a wonderful example of her holding that space and breathing through her body for such amazing vocal quality.

6:06 When we take a look at "Halo" we see another great example of her amazing breath support, vocal power, and vocal freedom freedom. Notice how all her singing comes from her diaphragm. She is such a great example of How to belt.

8:57 In her "Stevie Wonder Tribute" she showcases such a big part of her vocal style with a vocal growl. She does this extremely well by holding openness in her throat.

12:53 "Dangerously in Love" and "Love on Top" are such great sing along songs! Here, Beyonce show us how to sing really high and she makes it look so easy. And she doesn't mind to share the stage with lot's of adoring fans who all want to sing like Beyonce.

Beyoncé is a very varied singer. She definitely uses her voice as an instrument and strategically stretches it very carefully and cautiously, never damaging it or stretching it too much. It's very carefully bendable and flexible. She knows where to adds touches of lightness, airiness, heaviness, rawness, sultriness, soulfulness, etc. at the right times and in the right spaces. That's what makes her vocals dynamic. She's not just an entertainer, she's definitely a showstopper of a vocalist. Space in music is extremely important and she uses space very well. I like how her voice has developed and gotten richer with time and years. It's extremely rich in its development right now. The richness allows her to move through a lot of different genres but still maintain her R&B essence. Vocally, she has a golden honeyed flare.

Your understanding and way of explaining things we understand about what entrances us with bey but cant put into words is phenomenal. Please do more and explain more technical aspects too.
