Can you please do more videos on Mary. I’m tired of Protestants barking at me and I would love to have the right tools to defend my faith. Most Lay Catholics don’t have the scripture verses to back most of our dogma up and that’s how we get “destroyed.” Protestants won’t even listen if it isn’t in scripture. I want to learn to defend the true faith

Perhaps there is a reason that Mary is not called the mother of God, the new ark, the queen of heaven in scripture. Perhaps there is a reason that we aren't told in scripture that she remained a virgin her whole life, was taken to heaven, is a mediator between us and God.

Perhaps there was a reason that when Jesus was told that His mother and brothers were outside that He pointed to the believers in front of Him and said, "Here is My mother and brothers"! Maybe there is a reason that He added, "Anyone who does the will of God is My brother, My sister, My mother"!

Perhaps there is a reason why only one gospel told the virgin story from Mary's point of view. Why she isn't mentioned from the creation of the first Christian Church in Acts thru the book of Revelation.

Maybe there was a reason when Jesus was asked how we should pray He said, "Our Father", not, "Hail Mary"! Maybe there was a reason that when asked who was the greatest He said John the Baptist. Maybe there was a reason why she is only mentioned 19 times by name. Luke, the physician mentioned her 13 and Matthew 5.

The point of the gospel is Jesus becoming our salvation and the Mediator between us and God. Praying to Mary is rejecting the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us when we pray directly to God.

Mary, like John the Baptist are prophecy fulfilled! Neither have an active role in our salvation.
