Help me make more cheesy content:

Dietary fitness supplements are responsible for one of the largest industries in the realm of fitness, if not the largest. We are constantly bombarded with advertisements, sponsorships, and endorsements all about taking supplements to improve our gains. And although supplements can definitely help, the mess that is the dietary supplement industry due to its unregulated nature causes a lot of confusion and, at times, outright scams too often taking people's hard-earned money.

Truth is, there is more "bad" cases of supplements than there are "good." And even among supplements that are "good," they might not present a benefit as significant as you might expect. In this video, we'll go over some fundamental points that will help you make a more informed decision on your supplement purchases.

HIS MOUTH MOVES, WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE REAL PICTURE FIT!?

To save you some time:
Creatine is good, but by in bulk.
Protein is is helpful, easy because it's easy and fast, but is more expensive than whole food.
Multivitamins can (not guaranteed) be helpful, you dont need name brand, Kirkland is fine.
Pre-workouts can be fun, but dont overdo them.
And ultimately: NONE OF THESE ARE NECESSARY.
Stay hydrated, cook decent food with fiber, high protein, fat, and carbs, and train hard and you'll be fine.

Really impressed with this and your similar videos. Impressed by the"neutral" nature of your advice, your focus on people from novice or recreational to professional bodybuilding, and your differentiating between individual results v. ave results. Personally, I took creatine HCl for several months without noticing a difference...except for difficulty staying hydrated. Ultimately I gave up creatine at the recommendation of my doctor and did not see any decline in my gains.

Carb loading has improved my workouts far more than caffeine ever dreamed of 💪

But yes I'm still cracked out on pre before most sessions 🙂

Love the bit on protein amount recommendations. I feel like the recs have focused way too much on the absolute peak efficiency and for most that means you’re consuming far more protein than you realistically need. The Pareto principle applies here too.

Maybe I'll get used to it, but my initial reaction to the mouth moving is discomfort.

This was actually really informative. I do want to add that protein can be used as a flour or on mega shakes and more more recipes for higher protein intake.

Order in safest consumption:
- Creatine Monohydrate (while you are wasting money literally on taking more than 5-8g Creatine daily, there is no harm. Thousand studies done, literally)
- Protein (It's a daily occurence and only can affect a small percentage if you keep eating extreme amounts of protein over longer periods)
- Caffeine (aka Pre-Workout - I would recommend to use it occasionally, not every workout and certainly not every day. Your daily caffeine intake is fine, usually, but pre-workouts are higher dosed and you keep increasing chances of withdrawal effects. If you're young you won't feel it most of the time, but why be dumb and not just do it smart from the beginning and just take it when you're not feeling good enough to train?)

I love your videos, subscribed, and follow hard. But that mouth moving is too distracting lol. I liked the expressions you did better than the mouth movement, if you're looking for feedback. Thanks for constantly staying on the move on the research for helping me be the best I can be!

I cannot describe how much fun training is when I use preworkout. For me is a game changer, I feel much sharper, I can go to failure so much easier.
I hate the fact that stim-based preworkouts creates tolerance, it is the only thing I don't like. With a detox this issue resolves pretty well.

I'm only taking vitamin D, magnesium, selenium, zink, Omega-3/6/9 and Soi protein. And that's it I'm making little gains in strength while losing a lot of weight, but I'm back to the gym after a very long break, so it might have something to do with it.
