0:17 is so epic, that girl/guy standing up, in that lightning, and song fits so perfectly... this part for me symbolises pure attitude era, freedom, entertainement, wrestling golden era no doubt

I’ll never forget how loud the crowd popped when he made his debut and the name “JERICHO” appeared on the titantron

A few things about this video.

It is merely ripped off, albeit the JERICHO letters, from the titantron that was playing when Motley Crue performed for WWF a year before (1998), cars and cityscapes too.

The dancer footage was taken from Shotgun Saturday Night, January 4 1997. The premier episode. It was in the Mirage Nightclub in NYC. There were many gogo/table dancers there, she was one of them.

A snippet of her exact pose (the 'teapot' one) can be seen at the end of the January 25, 1997 episode of Shotgun. Right after the last commercial break as Psycho Sid shoulders Crush in the corner. Vince tells the audience they will be back at Mirage next week, as clips of "where it all began" play, showing footage/alternate angles from the premier episode.

They were in Webster Hall that night (01/25/1997), which so happens to be the night where they shot b-roll dancers for DX's Titantron.

On the February 1, 1997 episode where they return to the Mirage Nightclub, there are two scenes where the Godwinns are ogling a short-haired table dancer. As it was a return episode to the same venue only weeks apart, this short-haired dancer very well could've been the same one seen on the first night Shotgun was there. The one in this video. She appears to be wearing a different outfit; but it may be her. I'll let you decide.

This was all my own research done on my own accord, because I like to get to the bottom of things. These episodes can be found here on Youtube, or Dailymotion.

Jericho's debut was probably the most epic thing I ever witnessed. I was 5 years old but I remember it clear as day.

What's under rated about this tron is its from the Perspective of "jericho arriving in new york from wcw."
