Note: There is a plothole about Goku using the spirit bomb when he never learned it. Sorry about that! It can be explained away by Bardock having learned the spirit bomb during the seven years of peace. He was in heaven for majority of it, but did keep his body like the Z fighters did. He went to King Kai's and klearned it, but it wasn't his style. Later on he taught it to Goku!

A note: I do know there is a plot hole where Goku uses the spirit bomb. That was my mistake, but we can say that Bardock may have learned it while in other world, since he IS in heaven but kept his body. I like the idea that Goku would have the same personality even if he didn't hit his head. I imagine in the super series, he was just upset and confused when he arrived on Earth. Without communication skills he just didn't understand Gohan. The hit on his head didn't change his personality. He just forgot about his parents and why he was upset in the first place.

Actually in the original story The omni king was planning to destroy all of the universes anyways so goku brought up the idea to have a tournament instead so goku technically saved the multi verse
