In this video, we use express-validator to validate the email input sent to our signup route. We begin by defining the tests based on our business requirements, and only then advance to the code implementation. By the end of the video, we have an email validation that is not only working but also thoroughly tested.
This video is part of a series where we are developing a microservices-based social media application with the main focus on learning the microservices pattern. We are using NodeJS for our backend services, and React for our frontend client.
