Point of clarification on CoP vs. Evasion:
- CoP applies to ALL saving throws, not just dexterity. This is a big difference.
- CoP you will still take full damage if you fail while Evasion you will take half damage.

With the Strixhaven Quandrix Background anyone can get Circle of Power at a level full casters get their 5th level spells.

I think the spell is better suited for Paladins because of their additional Save stacking Aura of Protection.

But I wonder how else the evaluation of the spell changes with it being accessible far earlier by casters.

My Lore Bard just acquired Circle of Power via Magical Secrets after turning level 14. Sadly my PC will probably die during our raid of the Illithid city with the Brain, even with this help.

Find Steed has their own Circle of Power!

Magical Evasion is a better name for this.

I'm a little jaded on the paladin spells.. I'm of the mind players shouldn't keep paladin class when they step out of line like the old school versions.
They are supposed to be the standard of human perfection and the class no longer gives the benefits for staying true nor penalties for falling
