Divine immutability does not mean that God is inert. God is immutable even while he relates to creatures in time and space. He does so neither compromising his immutability nor adding a new nature or properties.

The title does not correspond with the answers given. The question, as I understand it, is how God is immutable when creation appears to entail a new relationship with God (one that did not exist logically anterior to its actualization). His appeal to the persons of the Trinity is disanalogous because said persons are supposed to be the one and same undivided divine essence. That cannot be said of creation. The relation between the infinite and the finite has a logical point of origin whereas there is no logical point of origin for the divine essence. Hence, why is creation not a new relation in God? I'm surprised the moderator did not press for a direct answer. Instead, the guest baldly appeals to a couple of biblical texts without directly answering the question. To say, "Well, the Bible says that God doesn't change, so that's that, " doesn't address the objection. His opponents affirm the same texts and explain it with a different definition of immutability. Very disappointing answer.
