Guess who’s at Anime Expo for the first time in her little weeb life! It’s me. And I’m so far very tired but have had many interesting experiences. Including getting to see the premier of the new Cardcaptor anime that I’ve been waiting for since 5th grade. I won’t spoil anything but yeah my life is complete. I’m also gonna be seeing a bunch of internet people this weekend so that’ll be surreal. Hopefully I won’t be dead by then because I’m not good with crowds and walking…which is everything here woo!

So about this song though, I actually recorded this months ago but begged Kira to mix it forever. I am now very thankful to be able to post this! Thank you Kira again! I love this song and it gets stuck in my head easily. If things work out, I’ll be covering more of his songs in the future. But for now, here’s this!

My take on this song;

A young girl had lost a loved one, wether that he death or just leaving her. After this, she lost control of her life. She started to get into bad habits, wether that be drinking, drugs, cutting, ect. She desperately is trying to get out of these habits, but just relapses.

She eventually loses her grip of reality, desperately looking for someone to replace that loved one. Everyone she tries to build a similar relationship with she pushes away for these two possible reasons.

A. She is afraid of having to deal with loss again

B. She is unable to get over the fact that her loved one is gone, so she pretends that other people she tries to build a relationship with is that person.

personally, I connect this song to mentally healing from a traumatic event, like an abusive ex or something, because of the whole 'I'm crying I'm healing' part. Its probably just me, but I love this song anyways.
