I can't get my head around all the aspects of life, it is so difficult to be in the loop of what's going on, humanity is suffering to survive, the world is full of love yet the hate is more outstanding, sadly , but on the whole we need to keep fighting for the right things, and spread the kindness we all have within i am quite sure of myself, because at the end of the day we are all the same, we are all so compassionate, hang in there buddies !
Much love to you ❤

On the whole - to generalise
On second thoughts- to change your mind
At the end of the day- to summarise
Off the top of my head- when you take a guess
In/out of the loop- when talking about being informed
Out of touch- when someone doesn't have current knowledge
Touch base- when you want to reconnect
Struck by something- when you are impressed
Sure of one's self- when you are confident in ability
Hang in there- to remain persistent in difficult circumstances
To get your head around something- when you understand

I did manage to get my head around the fact that I need speaking practice. And once I started to put my knowledge into practice, I realized I'm not out of the loop anymore. On second thoughts, It wasn't me who did all the work since I have friends who have been supporting and helping me on this way. Now that I'm sure of myself when speaking english I'm grateful to all these wonderful people. On the whole, I'm approaching advanced leved and it's getting harder to go ahead, so, I really appreciate lessons like this for I it's hard to come up with something off the top of my head

Being a full-time mom, I am a bit out of touch as I am not tech savvy. However, I am struck by all the free online lessons on social media especially the ones by Emma. On the whole, it is so much fun for me to learn from Emma’ s videos. It may take quite some time for me to get my head around all the idioms but I am determined to hang in there. Thank you Emma for all your efforts!

Sometimes it's hard for me to study my target languages every day, but on the whole I'm motivated and determined person. At the end of the day, what matters most is that you are systematic. Some phrasal verbs seem to be out of touch, but I do feel like we have to hang in there, study hard and one day we get ours heads around it!

The first time I visited your channel, I was struck by how your English sounded so clear for me. On second thoughts, I got my head around that you speak in a good rhythm because you're an English teacher. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to hang in there on this challenging journey of learning English! Thanks, Emma!

I've watched the video twice in order to get my head around the lesson. Off the top of my head, I can say the whole thing is to better my speech and conversation, sound more native. Yes mam, I am incredibly stricken by how you make concepts clear.
Let hang in there that way and keep doing! Being sure of yourself!
Please, would you mend my sentences if necessary?
Thanks a lot!

I love this lesson, on the whole I have learned new expressions, despite I have enough knowledge, however on second thoughts, I don't have so complete vocabulary. Off top of my head I already reached 90% of good vocabulary, getting my head around into english conversations. Anyway I think that the important is always keeping yourself in the loop to absorb and expand your learning.

The Australian accent sounds like a beautiful mix of the American one and the British one as well. Just nice 😍

Dear Emma,
I am really enjoying your lessons. I was struck by your joyful teaching which encourages me to continue my study and I am sure of myself because some of my sisters are saying me that my English conversation skill is improving day after day. Still it has been taking a while to get my head around of all phrasal verbs, idioms... but I have hope I will hang in there, I will get it.
On the whole, I have noticed that my listening and understanding are much better then years ago. Definitely, I have to keep studying more and more.
Thank you for your creative videos.
God bless you and all Australian people in this delicate time.

I was sure of myself that my speaking English is good. But when I decided to touch base with my American friend it became obvious that on second thoughts my speaking English needs more practice. I couldn't remember words and said things that were off the top of my head. On the whole, it was useful to remind me to keep learning English and expand my vocabulary. I'm hanging in there and at the end of the day, I can read English books really well.

Hello Emma. First of all, I would like to express my appreciation & gratitude for all your sincere efforts on your channel. My name’s Sayed and I’m an EFL teacher for Arabic speaking students in a high school in the United Arab Emirates . Admittedly, I’ve really benefited a lot from all your lessons. You are really great🌹. What I love most is the last screen page where you summarise all the expressions, idioms or vocabulary. I always take a screenshot of that final page and keep it on a separate folder on my cellphone. I’m so indebted to you for all what I’ve learned from your channel. I keep recommending your channel for all my students, colleagues & friends. Keep it up Emma👍🏻🌺.

I am extremely struck by how clearly I heard when Emma speaks English on every lesson. When I see movies in English, I hardly get my head around it, so I thinks my listening skill is too bad. But at the end of the day, I found mmEnglish, and you, Emma, you let me hang in there. Thanks so much, Emma!
