OK, this video gets REALLY nerdy and technical, but what does it discuss?
I will be adding other videos from the conference, but in a nutshell:
OKKKK... but what the heck does that mean?! If you look at the thumbnail image, or subscribe for the follow-up videos (hint! shorter, and easier to understand), the #ai takes all that footage, and in this example, can take #interactive #gameengine playback, and re-project what it learned about all the imagery it was given, to make the game look more #photorealistic, because, well, it's sampling footage from the *real world,* and adapting it to match the game (not change it), in #realtime.
It is still very much a work in progress, but the more data (footage, photos, etc.) that one can give to such an AI, means that more types of #videogames (even fantastical ones, and other types of content) can look more photoreal, because it is sampling from real world objects, #materials, #textures, etc.
