I used Darkmoon on my third playthrough and was shocked at how much damage it was doing to bosses. Ive heard good things about Deaths Poker and Moonveil, ill have to do a playthrough with them at some point.

Ice Spear is definitely top tier, though it does also scale with dex as well (Cross Naginata does more damage with Cold than Magic infusion). Love the list, thanks for the ideas!

I use the best of both worlds. I wield Blasphemous blade in one hand and Darkmoon in the other

Glintstone Kris too low, Moonveil too high. Royal Greatsword too high. SONAF too low, especially since it can be obtained from a chest 15 to 20 minutes into the game. I agree with the comment that Radhan's weapon isn't really an int weapon as the int scaling is trash.

To be honest the best int “weapon” is double max staff of losses with 80 or more int and night comet with Godfrey icon. This invisible spell will one shot the beasts in farum azula and with terra magica and magic tear and golden vow is easily the strongest attack jn the game. with only 10 vigor but 80 int you will never get hit while you crush everything from afar. umbasa. but as real weapons go the claymans harpoon cold or magic with ice spear is my fave.

Welp, time to farm some smithing stones. I especially can't wait to get my hands on the Death Ritual Spear. Looks like it'll be 'fun' in PVP 😈

Could not agree more with the top 3, especially Moonveil not being in it despite still being good. Rest of the list I like too, except for Starscourge Greatswords. I dont think it really counts as an intelligence weapon. Much like the Ruins Greatsword, the vast majority of the damage is physical and the Intelligence scaling is garbage. Its a ribbon feature at best imo. I have other problems with the Starscourge Greatsword, but Im going on enough as is. If i had to pick a replacement off the top of my head, I'd say Bastard Stars. Flails aren't great, but a magic one with a crazy strong ash of war is!

Glintstone dart is extremely OP to me, in my playthrough with it first of all i could be a full (sort of) spellcaster since it costs almost no fp for its power (w/ carian crest + sacrificial axe), and also annoying bosses like malenia that usually avoid ranged attacks are not actually fast enough to dodge the dart, because it travels way too quickly for them, i actually thought this might be the top 1 dagger in the game :P.

I would definitely take the moonveil over the wings of astel and the deaths poker. The ash of war from the moonveil is just a lot quicker. Against slower and bigger enemies, astel and poker are a little bit better. But most of the time, you're fighting agile or fast hitting enemies.

Nice video! I would personally not put Starscourge on this list since you really want to focus on Strength if you want to get the most out of the weapon.

It’s an awesome weapon but on an INT focused build you’re really better off using any of the other weapons mentioned in this video

Wing of astel has good r2 damage. You get a DMGS effect but thats really good but not as op
