the PC Dash was a command controller for the PC. Different games had overlays for them. Was cool to see that the Hellfire expansion came with a overlay for it!

I remember seeing hellfire in the stores back then, wish i bought it, but I still have my diablo 1 big box and diablo 2 and LOD boxes.

i had big box diablo. still got the disc but not the box anymore :(

I'm currently catching up on this since I was also too young back then to appreciate this game. There were also add ons to this game that you can use by saving a notepad in the Hellfire Folder. Put a command list in notepad.looking like this

"cowquest" = sidequest from Complete Nut (found near the cows) asks you to find a brown suit located in Hive level 4 in exchange for 1 of the best armors in the game. Bovine Plate.
"theoquest" = sidequest from a kid named Celia (found near Adria's place) she'll ask you to find her teddybear Theo. When completed by killing Hork Demon to drop Theo the Teddybear in Hive Level 3 she'll give a amulet (nothing special).
"bardtest" = play as a Bard. looks similar to a Rogue but can dual wield weapons and have balanced stats.
"barbariantest" = play as a Barbarian. looks similar to a Warrior can use two hand weapons with 1 hand and have 0 Magic stats, 1 skill berserk, High HP, Strength and adds +1% to resist all when you level up. +1 Armor every 4 levels.
"multitest" = it should be able to have multiplayer option. (But I doubt you need this. Its just good to know unless you have the hacked hellfrui.dll file).
Can be activated using Hellfire ver 1.01

Now, who can tell me why are there different Hellfire CDs? In this video its black with red and there is also another one that comes in black and yellow. There is also a blue line on the bottom of the box when my copy has a red line. Is this a European release or something in the video?

that hellfire disc looks much much better then the vanilla cd.
I owned the original case for d1 but not the box itself. :)

I bought the Wal-Mart Diablo pack years ago, which featured Diablo 1-2 plus all expansions. I was recently given an XP-era desktop computer which I have loaded down with games of that time (and earlier) using GOG.com as well as other sources. Problem is, Diablo and Diablo 2 + LOD installed and ran fine, but I cannot for the life of me get Hellfire running. Whenever I put the cd in, the computer fails to recognize it all together which really sucks because it's the only Diablo experience I've yet to play. Any thoughts on that? BTW, I subscribed to your channel. I one day hope to make retro gaming videos myself so it's always nice to run across new reviewers. Although, I wish you could've included some gameplay, considering you called the video a unboxing/review. No worries, though. Keep up the good work and I'll try to get around to watching more of your videos when I'm not busy gaming. Take care, my friend.

PC-Dash came for some games. Ich have some Might and Magic Games that support it and my Tomb Raider 2 PC game. I think Its an alternative device to play PC Games.

I had same experience being afraid of the butcher being stuck lol, back then no internet no youtube so only info available was paper hard copy.things took years to travel around the world.i played a demo of diablo 1 in 1998. Came with the same CD demo diablo tomb raider etc

Did I get ripped off? I ordered a copy of Diablo off of amazon, but I only got the cd case with the game inside, and the mini booklet on the cover. I did not get the box itself, and I want to get Hellfire. Do I have to register it to my Blizzard account, and did I get ripped off? Will I have to reorder the game and get the box?
