Poison hemlock, Conium maculatum, is a toxic, fast spreading invasive species that is found throughout North America. Once it starts to flower controlling it becomes more a matter of keeping it from going to seed and less about trying to kill it. Removing flowers from poison hemlock can be labor intensive but is a vital step in gaining the upper hand on this toxic scourge.

I’ve got some in my yard. But there’s a moth that lays eggs on the stems. The larvae burrow into the stems and it dies before flowering.I see you left the sumac!👍
