He estado luchando con este tema, y por fin, entiendo la diferencia. No puedo creerlo porque siempre me confundió. Ahora sé que 'era' es para objetos o descripciones de personas en el pasado y se usa 'fue' cuando un periodo del tiempo es evidente o cuando se habla del eventos.
