THE ULTIMATE REMATCH | MSI 2022 - Semifinals Day 2 Tease

This is the end of a semifinal trilogy that spans back to 2019 when G2 Esports defeated T1 at both MSI and Worlds semifinals. Before Caps joined G2, Faker and T1 saw a clear superiority over G2 Esports. Since then though, the rivalry has swung in the favor of G2. Caps and G2 are 9-4 against the South Korean champions. One of Faker’s worst losses of all time came in the 2019 Worlds final when he fell apart against G2 in front of the European fans in Madrid. Can Faker and T1 gain some revenge and take them down in front of their hometown fans in Busan, South Korea?

This is a match Faker has been waiting for for three years. Caps has graduated from ‘Baby Faker’ to being a full-fledged legend in his own right. Either T1 will stop the streak of semifinal losses, or G2 will continue their authority over the winningest franchise in League of Legends history.

Faker was Caps’ idol and the reason why he wanted to become a pro in League. Now, he’s turned his idol into a rival – and the Unkillable Demon King is out for blood.

Let's be real here, so many great midlaners have come like Showmaker, Caps, DoinB, Chovy etc, but their has never been another Faker! The Image that Faker holds is Specific only to him and no matter what anyone does, they will never take it from him. Their will never be another Faker.

Hadn't the riot incident, this could be the best msi for a while. So much narrative, individual team hype this year is the best, shared history, and crazy series of games. Sad that the first thing that will be remembered might be the fans behavior and the "integrity" and not the fact that 3 of the most decorated teams in each region in their best forms are taking blows with each other along with rouge teams almost hugely impacting the entire rumble stage - such a rare event, don't wanna elaborate about the fiasco bc all I want is a good series without bias today and tomorrow besides 2022 is still a decent contention for the best msi.
