When I heard this song at the end of season 7, episode 2 of "True Blood, " I was sure this was a 60's or '70s R&B gem long forgotten that had been discovered in an act of great fortune. It went without saying that this was one of those rare songs you hear on TV that moves you to research and purchase it. I was astonished that the song was just a couple of years old and sung by folks younger than some of the wines I've imbibed. Treasure Found!  

Young Brittany Howard's voice evokes memories of a time in R&B and Blues Rock long past. She's a young lady with an Old Soul. Wow, very impressive. She is slightly reminiscent of Janice Joplin.

I hope that these young folks get to make more music like this.
