My mother is obsessed with Turkish soap operas and this definitely reminded me of them. She still watches them to this day despite not understanding the language😂😂

Oh my god thank you! I’ve been waiting YEARS for this video. I’m an Australian woman married to a Turkish man and in our case this is 90% accurate 😂😂😂

You can only generalize the Mom part. Turkish men love their moms no matter what. They are in a special place. We are ”Ana kuzusu”

Half Turkish Half Danish here. I grew up in both London and Denmark. I'm conflicted with having a Danish father who's like: "Women are equal. Treat them with respect." to my Turkish mother who tells me, "Treat a woman like a Princess...that's all you'll ever need." And then 5 minutes later, I see my dad just agreeing to everything my mum would say and I'm like, "Sure...Bloody equal my ass." Hahaha.

😂😂😂 If my Turkish husband had been like this I would never have married him. But I’ve certainly seen some of these stereotypes in my friends’ husbands and boyfriends.

This is sooo like the turkish guy I've been talking to. Yes he's very jealous and possessive but also protective. He's a gentleman. And about being assertive, I have no problem. He likes me for knowing what I want. I always tell him how I feel and what's on my mind. Yet he never changes. He is always kind to me. Very patient. Very emotionally open and honest. And sweet. I'd love to have a turkish boyfriend. I don't know the part about being a mama's boy yet. But he doesn't know how to cook much. And his mom does his laundry. He's 22. 😂 being family oriented, that's a good factor. I'm also family oriented.

my boyfriend is turkish, i am german, despite the language barrier, (he's getting better and better, so do i try my best to learn turkish), there were a lot of things I wasn't used to xD for example he NEVER lets me pay. And hours of videochat. With all of his family. Which there are his parents, his two brothers, two sisters, his nieces, nephews, cousins, and so on. And presents! he doesn't get tired of it, and he loves surprising my sisters and my mother aswell. Talking from my mother, he calls her kaynana since our first week of dating. When i explained it, she was so surprised, i thougt she had a heart attack. another thing: The eyes. the eyelashes. I've never seen any turkish man or woman who didn't have amazing eyes. And the constant need of attention. Cute, very cute, but don't tell him it's cute, or else he gets salty because, he's a man. xD
Aaah i could go on like this forever but guess what, someone wants attention
