He was casting Barrier of Gold which reduces all my damage by like 60%. I was casting Law of Regression which cancelled out his buffs, and it just continued until he ran out of FP.

His strat was clearly to run you out of FP by making you cast Law of Regression over and over again, leaving you without access to your spells. He really is the anti-mage.

There is a slight lingering effect of the spell, as you can see a few times in this video, where buffs applied right after the spell is finished casting will still be cancelled.

It's 55 FP for law of regression, vs 30 FP for barrier of gold. It's probably fine when you're dueling against builds with 10-20 mind, but you might have an issue against faith casters who have the same amount. Or maybe if this kind of thrilling gameplay goes on for long enough, both sides would silently agree to not use buffs? lol
