This is the first time after almost 3 months that my family and I go out and stay for few hours outside which is of course in line with the movement policy of UAE. It was on the fine Friday morning, 29th May when we planned to roam around the city and then decided later to head to Al Ain for a road trip.

Al Ain is part of Abu Dhabi and travel time will be approximately 2 hours by car from Dubai. This is also the birth place of His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE's first President.

Just to name a few, Al Ain known for it's Natural Springs, Garden City and the place that everyone would like to go specially on winter season, the Jebel Hafeet Mountain.

I have mentioned some of the interesting facts about Jebel Hafeet on this video but to add a few, this is second to the highest mountains in UAE, the highest one is Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaima. If you're fan of the panoramic and scenic views this place is for you. Driving through the winding mountain road with a great landscape on each side is a perfect way to complete your day. Also there is a study that one of the Archeologist found over 500 ancient burial tombs age 5000 years located in Jebel Hafeet foothills.
