You can pre-order it than return it. And you keep the exotic. That's what my friends did.

Gotta agree with some of these comments, Dawn Chorus is a waste. Any neutral exotic in the game is a better choice when the alternative is a 200% increase to some awful damage, and melee energy. Scorch is applied for less than a second per ignition, and warlock melee is not good enough to warrant the regen.

Verity's Brow + the fragment that rewards grenade energy on ignition kill is amazing. Run fusion grenades and you have more burst damage.

Pheonix Protocol + well + the fragment that causes ignitions on super kill is great.

No hate or anything, people are just surprisingly eager to defend a bad exotic, or the pairing at least.

I first started playing destiny at the beginning of lightfall because my friends were begging me to play it, it didnt even take 2 days after surprising them that i got it that they bought me all existing dlcs and preordered Final shape, either my friends got a problem with playing destiny, or they’re really good people
