How To Remove Excess Water on A Pool Cover With A Cheap Manual Siphon Pump

During the winter months your pool cover will collect a lot of rain water and water from melted snow. You don't want that extra water sitting in your pool all winter because it can strain the sides of your pool and it could freeze up, damaging your pool in unexpected ways.

All you need to to is place the weighted flower shaped grid into the puddle of water that's resting on your pool cover, trail the hose out of the pool and down to the ground, and start squeezing the pump. Once you siphon out enough water down the line and to the ground gravity should do the rest. As the water travels down the hose it pulls down more water through suction and as long as the exit end of the hose is below the intake end, the water will continue flowing downhill and off your pool cover.

This cheap and easy to operate pool cover pump is all you need!

Mine doesn’t even wanna pump at all I’m pressing on it and nothings coming through the hose. I thought maybe the hose is too long but your seems very long also. I mean it’s almost at the bottom. It’s not even or anything like that it’s sunk in but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
