Marge would have made a fantastic ruler. Savvy, compassionate, proficient in getting her way. The kingdom would have flourished under her rule. Tommen would wear the Crown but she would rule the king with her kindly and unassuming method of benevolent manipulation. Reminds me of Catherine the Great.

I think from this conversation it also emerges that while Margery is an apt student of her grandmother, there is also something about Olenna that frightens her. As if she thinks that things ought not to be this way, that you should not have to kill to save yourself, or save somebody, or to serve your interests in any other way. She thinks that the kind of life she obtains thereby is not at all what she is wishing for.
