Minecraft is full of really difficult challenges and draining an ocean using just 1 sponge was MUCH harder than I ever expected. Most players would never even attempt this!

I suggest using the /fill command (Minecraft's built-in world edit) to get rid of alot of blocks in square or rectangle forms. Simply do :

-Place cursor over a block you wanna start on,
-use command
/fill
and the block coordinants will pop up in yellow, there should be 3 sets of numbers and symbols.
-click the coords for the block.(top row)

So it should look like :
/fill <coords>

-click ''enter''
(Yes yes I know it's not a full command, we're doin the easy way to use minecraft's built-in world edit.)

now, go to the next block you're gonna close up the square to remove with, visualise what the area you're removing is gonna look like to make it easier if you must. And put your cursor on that closing block.(directly on the block or the game will consider it as ''~~~'' instead of numbers)

-Once here, open chat again
-Now click ''up arrow'' on your keyboard.
(the command we did before should pop up, if you didn't chat afterwards..)

-after the old command pops up, what you should look see is:
/fill <coords>

now you'll press ''space'' and a second trio of coordinants with come up. Click that trio so it joins the command, and then, after that, it should looks like :
/fill <coords> <coords>

From here, type ''air'' after. Now it should look like:
/fill <coords> <coords> air
-click ''enter'' and your area should be removed!

**You can also use these steps to change or fill areas with blocks, just change the word ''air'' from the command to whatever block you please.**

There is a lot of easy way to drain the ocean in Minecraft, but I admire your hard work.

Nice job! If you ever have the crashing problem again, a super easy way to fix this is to do /kill @e in console, as floating items are entities. It would delete all the floating sand and should work. But I can’t believe it took you that long, nice job!

I did a radius of 90 blocks on a server before, even that was extremely difficult, the effort you go to building supervaults is extreme.

How to clean the ocean :
1. Remove the water.
2. Take all the trash.
3. Put back the water.

Mayby a bit late and is mayby said already

You can use a conduit what let u let breath underwater ALL THE TIME, so u don't have to use that helmet

And second, u could used shulker boxes in ur inventory to store more sand a time in your inventory and more in the chests.
