The ending score by Jürgen Knieper for the 1986 film River's Edge is chilling. It is also a kind of folk acoustic music with orchestral background I love to hear, regardless of how
it was applied in the film. Add to it just a touch of jazz trumpet to deepen the moodiness. It could have worked well with many other films or settings too I think. A brilliant work. My only complaint is that it is a bit too short; another minute of it would have been nice.
