The two nicest people on YouTube and in the same room and just as entertaining and knowledgeable and helpful as ever after recent health scares. You guys rock!

I don't know if it is because I'm getting old, but it is so extremely adorable seeing you as a mom!!! 😍😭😭😭

I feel like I’m with Jonathan here. If you’re a beginner at video, I don’t think jumping right into log is the best idea because it’s just another obstacle in your workflow that you need to now overcome with little benefit if you don’t understand how colours work. Instead of worrying about what ISO, white balance or exposure to use, you could just start recording and focus on light, composition and storytelling, which arguably mean a lot more than the exact colour of the footage.

Then once you’ve mastered that, or you start to feel limited by the iPhone, you may as well start looking into buying a proper camera so you can start playing with focal length, aperture, shutter angle, etc. Altogether, this arguably makes a much bigger contribution to a “cinematic” look than shooting in log.

Only once you finally understand all these basics should you look into log recording.

An HDR version would’ve been great to see with this video … could have really seen the differences that way.
Otherwise, you’re just perfect. Can’t think of a YouTuber I like and admire more. 🙏

Great video. I have a 15 pro max, but don’t expect to use Apple log, but knowing how it works is good info.

This video was so helpful! Thanks so much! Just upgraded from an iPhone 11 Pro Max to a 16 Pro, so I’m excited to dig into what it can do. 😆

I've been in photography for a while and getting to know the lingo has been a little difficult, adding that (S-Log) just meant Sony Log added a sense of welcoming for every tier (Starters, Amateurs, Pro's), Thanks!

If you are confused about this video, don't worry about it. She's talking to pros using their phone cameras as a pro which is something that pros would never do and the non-pros either. 🤣🤣🤣 Very good video, though.

I was late to watch this and it is so great to see Jonathan. Also the two of you explaining Apple log together was really helpful.

All the best to both of you.
