NUX Mighty Space - demo

The NUX Mighty Space is a portable, 30-watt stereo wireless modeling guitar amp for electric and acoustic guitars and bass.
But the Mighty Space, as Guitar World Tech Editor Paul Riario points out in this demo, is also so much more. “It’s an amp, an amp modeler, a multi-effects processor, an amp head, it has a built-in wireless and it comes with a wireless transmitter, a drum machine and a looper,” he says.

Nice nod to "In the End" by Rush. I'm buying this amp not because of that, but it markets it so well.

As a bass player I am skeptical. Including bass guitar in these type of amps is always an afterthought and I doubt that has changed here. I cant even start to belive a bass guitar sounds good coming out of a 30 watt toaster running on batteries. Might sound good with headphones but since we never touch on the bass tones in these things I'll assume there are some decent sounds to be had through headphones or possibly with another cab but there is nothing spectacular and even with an extension cab bass players are going to wish they had spent their $450 on something with a bit more voulume and even more important more low end. There are still companies making gear for guitarists while treating bass players as an afterthought but these days there is plenty of gear designed with bassists in mind and thats who will get my money. A bassist who drops 400+ bucks on this thing is going to feel cheated when they realise it doesnt make for a very good bass amp.

I just like tube amps, I'm sure these amps get usable tones and are convenient.
But I just don't dig em.
I play old music played thru old amps, there is no substitute

In other words a knock off of the Positive Grid Spark. Even down to the strap amp handle. Wow.

Nice overview but sounds way too much like a NUX marketing promo. Not even some constructive criticism…
