i have two from the same Bank, one has a very low interest rate and the other gives me points. I keep them open for credit longevity, over 40 years old. My other is a Macys, which I hate, and the other is Captial one Visa which I use for Costco.

I think zero is the best number. I do have one that I'm currently working to pay off.I see no benefit to taking on credit cards. I know Dave Ramsey and Chris hogan agree with that

Why would anyone use a credit card as an emergency fund? have a credit card in case the economy sours? That's crazy. Put real money aside
