What if the US had decisively succeeded in it's invasion of British Canada during the War of 1812, and annexed the territory into the United States? How would Canada joining the US affect American politics, and might this encourage the annexing of other territories like Greenland?

Here’s a suggestion for another alternate history: During the Constitutional Convention, some Indians decide to attend, most likely Cherokee and Iroquois. After initial hesitation, the Indians successfully make the case that they can protect Washington’s supply lines, giving Washington’s Army great staying power. What happens next?

What if the United States was a constituency of the European empires, an economic asset that unites differing nations through a shared source of wealth? It would be split into several parts, with the Spaniards ruling Florida, the British controlling the East Coast, Russia colonizing Hawaii, etc. It would enrich the different nations, allowing their governments to remain popular due to economic prosperity. This opens up the possibility that many liberal revolutions that occurred in our timeline, would instead become minor revolts, thereby ensuring the survival of several monarchies and social conservatism in general. If America falls into revolution, then all of Europe falls into revolution. America would be dependent on Europe, and Europe would be dependent on America.

Another interesting question would be what if then British won? How would the creation of a Native American buffer state to restrict westward expansion change the map of what is now the western United States? Would Britain have given the Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coast, the only piece of land to permanently change hands during the war, back to Spain. What demands would they have made if they were in a position to dominate negotiations? Would Britain have kept New Ireland? What would a British dominated Great Lakes look like? How would guaranteed unrestricted access to the Mississippi River for trade by the British have effected the economy of the area? So many interesting what-ifs.

I’m always interested in these kinds of scenarios where the US takes for of North America. I kinda wanna see a scenario where the US not only takes Canada, but also conquers all of Mexico, and then goes on to annex Greenland, and Iceland.
And it all becomes on big nation. Also, there are still Latin people in Mexico, and they become full American citizens.
