I have a Tesla MY as my primary vehicle and the Mini SE as my wife’s around town car. I love the Mini and it is my first choice for daily use (If she lets me drive it). The fun-factor is tough to beat. BTW. Go for the full regen. Once you get used to one pedal driving, you will dislike “normal”. You just need to learn to “feather” the accelerator instead of taking your foot off the gas and coasting. You will quickly transition from rapid deceleration to smooth transition after a few miles of start/stop driving.

Good review with a few comments: The level two charge time is 4.5 hours, not eight hours. The brake lights are on when in regen except when at a full stop, so minimal safety issue there. In actual range testing, the range is noticeably better than cited, typically 120-135 miles (with no hot-rodding) based on numerous reviews elsewhere. Lastly, I noticed just like every review I've watched of the heads-up display, you're not using it. Numerous other reviewers have said it's just a gimmick and can actually be a bit distracting. By the way, we ordered a sig-plus SE last week :)

I have a 22 SE, I have 650 mls on it and love it USA. I currently have an ICE for long range trips to a point. If really long, fly. I too go full regen and no issues with cars from behind and if needed, feather. I use sport, mid and green, not much in green+. Most of my cars I keep a long time, EV's I won't for awhile due to newer tech coming out so fast. If anyone is on the fence, just go for it.

Obviously no oil changes, but would you please tell us what to expect maintenance wise- break pads/fluid, battery pack checks/does it require antifreeze to cool the battery?

Thanks. Great information. As a borderline EV purchaser, just curious -- if you're somebody that keeps cars for 10 years or more, what's the incentive to go electric. The technology evolves every year, making resale and even just general value a bit sketchy. Also, do you know anything about the costs for battery replacement or the life expectancy for them? Thanks.

Can you set a charge limit on the car? For instance stop charging at 80%?

In the usa, you cannot get the upgraded sound system, they give you a 500.00 credit.
