FYI, this is "afternoon tea", which was a light mid-afternoon snack for the upper class, eaten on a low/coffee table. "High tea" was a full evening meal for the working class, eaten on a dining/"high" table.

That being said, sketch is amazing! Your vid makes me miss it; I wish I could have visited with my mom!!

As a British person I can say most high teas I’ve had ain’t half as fancy as sketch😂looked absolutely amazing though! Next time you should put the cream on top of the jam on the scone, tastes waaay better. Love your videos Kelsey!!

Looks amazing! The cake from 3:28 is a Battenberg cake, a british cake, the best storebought is mr. kipling. I love battenberg! Usually pink and yellow sponge ( brown and orange in yours ) squares covered in jam then wrapped in marzipan.

Also next time you’re over here there’s a place called Dinah’s cat emporium (if you like cats) where you can go for lunch & scones, and you just have cats walking about it’s so cute when I went one of the cats had recently given birth so there was a bunch of kittens walking about and some come to you for attention it’s adorable! but you have to book in advance 💖
