Does the business analyst always load the epics and user stories with agile ways of working on Jira and azure? I ask because as a BA how do you know the amount of effort and target dates? We have a full tech team so I don’t want them to take advantage if they are supposed to be loading it onto the system, but want to be more active if it is my responsibility. In my previous project, the tech team and product owner had already created everything before I started on azure and refine the backlog with me and project manager as pretty much silent participants . The product owner and tech team also load the bugs identified by the pilot group, although he did mention that I should add a bug. They are on sprint 117 so they agreed to add. It’s my first proper BA role (which the team aren’t aware of- previous role was junior) so I can’t ask them, neither do I want them to take advantage so outside perspective would really be useful
