I think amethyst is more so a protection stone. That’s why it helps with sobriety and other negative frequencies around you. I like using citrine and green aventurine to attract wealth but it also depends on your zodiac sign. and amethyst most definitely is not a grounding stone. It stimulates the crown and third eye chakra and the heart chakra a little bit. Usually stones that are grounding stimulate the bottoms three chakras (sacral, root, solar plexus chakras) if your new to crystals it’s usually warm coloured crystals (red, orange, black) that are grounding and cooler coloured rocks or crystals (blue, purple, pink) that stimulate spiritual awakening.
