I'm so blessed that I've gone to church with a few families from Kenya. I never had to doubt any of these things.
Thank you for this video. It's nice to have a man who's about the people, more than the pictures.
Bless.

I went to Malawi Africa in June 2016, and I had the same experience. The People over there are so loving, and are some of the most generous people in the world. I love your videos, and this one brings back some of the best memories of my life.

The sentiment of this video captures my thoughts of Africa perfectly. I've so many photos of children from my time in Uganda. If you say hello in the local language and be nice, and then show them the photo after, they are happy. Genuinely people are happy there. They love life and I loved finding out the true Africa.

I've been to Ethiopia 4 times and am going a 5th this summer and I totally agree with you! Whenever I go over there, I am always so filled with joy and it is because I am surrounded by such happy, beautiful people who never cease to find delight in the little things. Yes, there are people that I meet that tell me incredibly heart-wrenching stories that fill me with great sadness, but overall, the kids and people that I meet in Ethiopia are some of the happiest I have come across in my life!

That's so beautiful Devin. Connecting with people is a true gift and I wish more people would take the time to understand that.

Thanks for giving the world, especially these needy people, some unforgettable laugh.
It is not easy to do such a great job, and I really appreciate that.
May happiness be with you and them for the entire life.

What you say makes total sense. Why have we forgotten these ideas or did we ever understand them? Thank you for the lovely videos, Lindsey's included.Children are so special all over the world.

Well said, sir. Your presence around those children are amazing. Keep up the good work, showing the smiles and the joy of the world. The media might not consider smiles and laughter as good material, but it is what we need to see.

Devin, this is incredible! I am born and raised in Kenya myself, at the lakeside town of Kisumu, and just seeing this plus the Children Of Africa video brings back so many memories. miss that place. i'm going back for a holiday in 2 months. Living there for most of my life and then moving to Australia, made me realize how people take so much for granted, when these children and people of Kenya have nearly nothing and yet they love life. Proud to be Kenyan. You're a legend making such videos. :)

I don't understand how high up people don't realize you have to connect with people on their level. If you are immersing yourself into a culture it's always so important to communicate with them in their own way. No body likes someone coming along and trying to force their own language at you. This is a truly inspiring video!

Devin you did it because you're different!
You're a person even I would like to smile to!
Be blessed!

However, thank you for the message which is a great one. Trying to understand ones culture, especially when visiting them opens up doors to a greater experience. And thanks to people like you who fight the ugly, diseased and poor idea of African nations with the beauty of humanity and smiles.

It makes me sad that this video doesn't have 50M views. You are 100% correct. You know it. I know it. You and Lindsey make a good team. Keep up the good work and don't forget to enjoy the ride. ...the scenery is pretty cool wherever you go.
