The plenary was inspiring . Climate change, front and center on the main stage.

Im ready to see ESRI lead by example, and show attendees how to live with a smaller footprint. How? Omit the most damaging products from your events.

In 19 whe Jane Goodall was in the stage she explained the impact of animal ag, and spoke of animals as individuals. When she mentioned another vegan in the crowd, Sylvia Earle, Jack cracked a joke, changed the subject and we all went upstairs for catered, high waste food.

Why have we drawn a system boundary that protects our high impact food choices when we talk climate?

Would it be unreasonable to omit animal products all together for the Esri catered events? Would a plant based UC be unthinkable? What would it take? How can I help?
