Hello everyone.
I wanted to share my humble experience. I am from Italy and I am 37 years old, and since I was 18 I struggled with depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. Almost two years ago, my father passed away, and I reached the bottom. Then, I discovered Hinduism, read about the Baghavadgītā, Purana, Upanishad, and I felt totally different, “new”, If you allow me to use this word. I felt particularly in connection with God Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi, and.. here I am, two years later. I felt deeply in my heart to renounce to work and studies and decided to dedicate my life to meditation, spiritual introspection and growth, letting go to bad feelings such as envy, resentment, sadness, living in moderation, simplicity, an ascetic life, praying with my heart and paying homage to Maa Lakshmi asking Her to grant people luck, prosperity and happiness.
It’s just my personal experience, I beg your pardon for this long message and sorry for my English.
