There have been too many times where expired property licenses have caused games to be removed from digital platforms (Deadpool video game for example). In addition, the gamepass library is constantly changing and shifting. It is never a waste of money to buy a physical copy

If you buy it physically you get it forever. My mom was playing zero dawn on game pass but it was removed in the middle of her play through. She did, however, own forbidden west, so she could play that.

Sometimes happens to me with me with Epic free games they give out every week I bought a game on steam and never got around to playing it and it shows up for free on epic happened just now with midnight sun 😢 sucks but it is what it is as least for physical games you can sell it make some money back.

This has happened to me as well a few times but I have a different take on this. The game will not always be in game pass. So if I don't get around to playing it or beating while in Game pass, I at least own it and can play it later as much as I want. This is important for games that get delighted due to licensing.
