Helps a ton! I've been waiting for the insulation how to! I had no idea you could stack insulation like that for higher R-Value and didn't truly appreciate the importance of a vapor barrier. Soundproofing is Law in Germany, in any Room for residential use. The Windows we use are really tight against the Elements and soundproofed, too. Our Windows interlock inside the Frame all around. Actually stormproove🙂... But still nice watching you, what Ideas you have and what Materials you use.

I have a small piece of plywood that I used my table saw to cut a slit in the middle, wide enough for my knife. I put the plywood down, apply pressure, insert the blade, and slice. It's dummy proof and fast.
