I remember the first an last trip to a "tiger rescue" my family went for my birthday. I LOVE animals, so it was supposed to be a treat. But when we saw the cubs they were handing out for pictures they all looked so flat.

An worse still the cubs only got to eat little bits of milk at a time when on tourists laps to keep them complacent. An when one clawed my cuff to get the milk bottle more the worker scruffed it an slapped it on its nose "nicely" an then grabbed anouther baby to be put on my lap for the picture. Needles to say we all left that hellhole early. Mom felt so bad afterwards, if that was the shit they were doing in front of us who knows what they were doing behind closed doors. So later on when I started volunteering at a wildlife rescue I was told a good rule of thumb for legit rescues is "if they let you handle the animals then they are *not* *a* *real* *rescue* !

This is such a sad story. Bears and all animals don’t deserve to be treated like this
