How to add graphics to your guitar part 1

In this video, we look at the first steps for adding graphics to your guitar. This guitar needed a fresh clear coat job for sure, and the customer decided to add his band's logo at the same time.

So question, water slide decals, I recently took a go at my first diy kit, the paint job of course looks super amateurish but that's my fault (needed more prep work on the sealer and primer) but I tried adding a logo on the headstock and body with water slide decals but the end product came out super wrinkly and I would guess it also shrunk leaving a dip around the decals, so before I strip it and try again, what would you recommend I do so it come out right? Any help would be appreciated

Actually keeping gloss under hardware is how it was age naturally too. Still a poor relic attempt though

Stick it in the microwave oven for 30 seconds or so, and it will make the tape usable, in most cases. It works.
