I don’t know how to describe it. This is one of my favorite S3rl tracks of all time. The story behind it feels like a lifetime of sadness but the song and mv to it have such a style and aesthetic. I really really love this.

Wanna know what's kinda tragic and hurts? Madde's father and stepmother have been shown to abuse and neglect her, yet when her duck plushie goes missing, she goes to her father....and HUGS him. Why? Comfort? Giving in to the affection they were trying to place on her? Was she just so hurt by not having Mr Duckling (Yes, that's the name of the plush) that she didn't care anymore? Is it Stockholm Syndrome? I don't know, but Maddie doesn't deserve this.

This makes me feel so sad. It reminds me of how at a young age, I was emotionally neglected by my parents and siblings were mean. The "Wish I never ever met you" Resonates in me and we can all apply this to how we feel when we are rejected. Regardless of whether we were rejected by people or a love interest. Sometimes you aren't ever enough, no matter how much self improvement you do whether it be mental, physical, or both. It hurts so much.
