I can not express enough how grateful I am of the algorithm of YouTube that has brought me to your videos!! I've learned so much spanish from your videos in a couple weeks than I tried to learn in years!! I haven't gotten through all your videos yet, but I'm making my way there!!! Thank you so much for your videos! 😊🙏

I love the background lighting. It captured that early morning, first coffee vibe! Such a helpful video.

It’s not just watching and listening to your fantastic videos, it’s the way that you explain everything so clearly and thoroughly, especially the subjunctive!

Thank you Paul❤ I am studying advanced Spanish in San Miguel de Allende. However, I always learn something from you because sometimes you just need am English speaker to explain things, and that is something you do very well. 😊 Your videos are a big help to me

Another way I have learned of saying "Make sure" although slightly different is "Hay Que" which means in literal translation "One is to... do something" but can be very similar to "make sure" in context, and sounds a bit more natural.

Many times you’ve commented that you don’t really understand why some of us who are already fluent watch your videos. This great video exemplifies why I do. I already use all these forms (or “asegúrese” if using Ud) and I’m using them correctly, but could not have told you WHY one or the other. I’d be like Linda, “It sounds right.” I really like understanding the “why”, especially that nuanced difference between indicative and subjunctive. Mil gracias una vez más. (Idea - if you ever want to address written Spanish, I’d love a clear explanation of when to use the tilde in más/mas, cuando/cuándo, cuanto/cuánto, porque/porqué etc.. I’ve read up on it, discussed with groups of native-speaking friends (who didn’t always agree amongst themselves), but it still hasn’t stuck…

Like so many others I like your videos because your explanations are so clear and concise. After I watch a couple of your videos I like to watch a telenovela or news cast, sometimes a podcast and listen for examples of the words in your lesson.

Nice articulate explanation without being overly academic... I'm also going to invite you over to give us advice on our interior home lighting 😅
