Normie Rowe It's Not Easy (45 RPM Vinyl)

Показать описание
It’s Not Easy was written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil for the Righteous Brothers just before their 1966 break up.

This epic production from 1966 was recorded in London, with Normie Rowe laying down a blistering vocal. The orchestra on the recording was 36 piece which included John-Paul Jones and Jimmy Page, both of whom went on to form Led Zeppelin.

This should have been an international smash for Normie, unfortunately the stars did not align.

This was my friend Marty's favorite song. Summer of '69? We lived in Oregon at the time. Had airplay on the Portland radio stations

If his number had not come up in the draft lottery, he would have been a far bigger star internationally Fate.

This was meant to be a Righteous brothers song however they had split up so Normie Rowe was lucky enough to grab it.

That's quite a wobble on that record.
