Ok, I think this song talking about the mc's most important women in his life: his mother, lover and sister.

The mother:
When she got pregnant with him her boyfriend left her because he wasn't ready to be a father. but the girl wanted to keep the baby and take care of him although she knew it will be hard. The mc thanks her for everything she did to him and how she made him strong.

The lover:
The mc tells the *end* of their story, when all the bad things are gone (which very fit to the song itself), he thanks his lover for staying him all this time and helped him through hard ones.

The sister:
At the end of the song, he talks about how his friends and family are getting old and he afraid of it. He thanks his sister that although the hard times they had she always will be by his side and protect him. He want her to know that no matter what, he's always by her side.

I think this song is very touching with a great attitude, sure will help _me_ through hard times. amazing work as always, Alec.^^

Alec Benjamin's songs are so deep... I really love how inspiring and meaningful they are. <3
There are just too much artists just singing cheesy, superficial songs and songs just about money, sex and fame.
We need someone like Alec, whose music is honest, genuine and down to earth.
